New website
Hi all, I've just launched Starkey Zone - an online gallery and stock library. starkeyzone.net We're not competing with the big boys (getty, i-stock etc.). We're offering a personlised service - images can currently be licensed and paid for using Paypal or via an invoice. I'd welcome any feedback, comments, tips etc. My works not what you'd call 'mainsteam' though..... This is my first post - looking forward to being part of the forums. Cheers Ashley |

Some very nice photography. The website itself is ok, its a bit dull and the logo looks to have some pixelated noise aroound the edges. I would lighten the grey background or may just go for a white background. Oh and the navigation menus text gets a little buggered up if I increase the browser text size, remember quite a few people have their bowser size increased due to visual impairments. Please can somebody change my username?

I think with the site being developed above 800px, almost at 1000px wide, the text is looking rather long in the places, as has been noted. Also mentioned, enlarged text issue: Your navigation bar starts to hide its links if the font is enlarged and this is not good for users who need to set their browser to display enlarged fonts for visual impairments. Other than that, I really like what you’ve done, its clean, simple and I am still flicking through your stock image gallery, which is holding some pretty nice work. |

Thanks
Many thanks everyone for taking the time to check out my photography and the site and for the feedback. I'm not aware of the issue with the length of the text lines - I'm going to forward this to the designer though. As far as the photos on the site go, this is actually only a sample of my library of work. Many of the images are part of a larger series and I've held back some work to release in the future. |
