Looks nice although the images took about 30secs to all load for me but there is no real way to get around that with that design

Way too much to comment on so i'll just suggest a couple of improvements! You have wayyy to many colours and too much clutter/info, its too much to take in. I suggest having a 2/3 colour scheme and then simplifying the content, structure and layout

I'm actually liking the colours. I like how each colour relates to a different section and how they match between the menu and header graphic.

But yea, reducing the filesize of the images would really help.
Plus to me, the anti-alias on the wavy lines in the header graphic look kinda blocky.

I like the design and I really like the colours. I wouldn't normally, but I think it suits this particular site.
It's just a shame you've designed it using tables...

Loading the site and having audio immediately blaring at me almost made me close the page. :/

I think it's OK. I'd prefer not to have to scroll the very first page, but that's my problem.
The colours are OK, they match in a way since they're all the same "intensity". I think the photography is rather amateurish and a Flash-based gallery is always going to be frustratingly slow until everyone has 50mb/sec broadband. I'd much rather be able to click through the galleries like on a bog-standard Photoshop generated photo gallery. At least then I'd see more photos instead of the Flash loading bar.
I don't like the video autorun either. Better to give the visitor a choice "Click to watch video..."
But the links are laid out clearly, there's lots to look at and read, so I'd say good job!

(I know a joke about Mexican colour sense but I'll leave it out until someone forces me to tell it.)

I think you've definitly got the right skills. But I think there are a little many colors. The stripes in the header can be improved imo..

By the way, css
