Aside from the splattering of Google Ads and the confusing nav, you might want to see: Monster Template Network Frontpage, Dreamweaver, Flash Templates, Logo Templates |

I have thought long and hard before I speak and I say "CUNT" but seriously your link its dated shit dude. The typography is awful the 3d box shit is alright if you are recreating Tron for disney but it all looks totally wrong and 80s. The font is the worst aprt about it all but in real terms there is hardly any design there. You work for an outsourcing company by any chance? do you have any templates you can use instead? Maybe you learnt via books from your local library and you need to write to them to request they buy something published since the year 2000 the closer to 2007 the better.... as for the original posting same thing goes it looks pretty poor and confusing because there is no form or layout evident other than banging it all in the page. The templates are pretty bad as well....is this some API or coding you have bought? |

When you post in someone else's thread and don't even mention their post, it appears to be spam. In regards to your site, it really does need work. I've read some of the feedback in your other post and yes it has been very blunt but there has been some decent comments. You need to take a step back and take people's feedback, yes with a grain of salt, but you still need to take it. If you can't evaluate your own work with the feedback of others, than you're going have trouble communicating and working with clients. Look into taking the site out of Flash. I know you won't be able to accomplish all those animations in CSS/XHTML, but the amount you are using Flash for is really minimal in comparison to the benefits of a well done CSS/XHTML site. And yes the work does look dated - take a look at some sites in the "Great Sites" (or whatever its called) area of the forum and take some inspiration. All the best. |
