stuck this together this morning, the guy wants the site to be -=FAST therefore some what simple, the site would be for searching and filtering and buying books. I know there isnt much to feed off but if anyone has some ideas that would be greatly appreciated.

drop the 3d round the logo.... unless it's part of the original logo! (?!

yeah, I think so - the logo is massive as well.

The shadow on the 3d is all over the shop.

condensed font - not that readable at small sizes...

I did the text flat at first, after taking inspiration from the morguefile.com site for the simplicity but effectivness but thought id give it a whirl as 3D and quite liked it (there is another flat text version, but kinda looked boring)

The smaller text wont be images, so will not look as bad as the pic was in there for demonstartiv purposes.

but yeh if u reckon the 3D is over the top il look into changing it.
