Design critique/advice
Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums, I'm looking for some critique/ideas regarding this site I am currently working on. It is basically a design portfolio with a few links. I'm trying to go for a simplistic and aesthetically pleasing design with the main focus on the content. I'm somewhat satisfied with the portfolio page, but I think the services page lacks color. I've tried to color it up, but so far everything I have tried just doesn't fit very nicely. I've attached one file with two screenshots. The top screenshot is of the portfolio page and the bottom screenshot is the services page. Any feedback/ideas regarding the design and ways to spice it up will be greatly appreciated. Yeah, I must get working on some sort of a logo. That image is actually a screenshot of another projects landing page I did. I might need to add a home/news link because currently the "featured works" link is the home page. Anyone got any creative ideas to introduce color (pref blue or green) to the services page? I tried highlighting the four headers but it didn't look too good. Thanks for the feedback so far. Looking forward to hearing more. |
