comments on a clients site

,,,,,
please could you take a couple of minutes to look through this design and give me some feed back, you can say anything you like I don’t mind.

The image at the top will change depending on what part of the site you are in,
the colour change is part of their corp. ID so that has to be like that,
the font for titles is part of their corp. ID too,
click any where on the page to view the next page these are only graphics not a working site.

thanks...

It looks good, I think the border on the curved section is a bit thick though. I think it would work better with square boxes to fit with the header and nav section.

I would have more of a border or a stronger background for the browser as the cream colour is very near to the broswer background and doesn't show a definate edge to the site as the rest of the content does. I do like to look of the pages though. Lots of info but not cluttered

I did use square boxes but it looked too blocky if you can understand what I mean. I wanted to try and break it up and make it livelier.

this is the smaller line version,, I am not sure what one I like more but I think its the thicker line one.

i cant decided which i like better ,,, the one pixel border gives the content more power, and the two pixel border gives the page more balance

use colured shapes instead (ie fill in the borders) with pink and the search engine white.

er.. I couldnt have coloured shapes as it would betract the focus from the content, I think the 1px line works best,

I see what you mean, not seen opodo before... Its a pain in the frigging arse these days, we are all working within the same borders, what’s possible and what’s not, download time, browser issues etc. We are all creative people and sometimes are going to have the same ideas as other without realising it. I think that some people go to far and copy steal a whole idea and concept and just change there name and content....but then you get a genuine person who has the same coloured box that looks like a coloured box on another site and bag your stolen an idea or design etc.... Now I am feeling slighted pissed off coz I know I am going to get some stick for this site, but there’s nothing I can do about it now as the client as pretty much signed the thing off.
Anyways I think pulled it off better..... ho ho ho .
