Here are my thoughts (critiquing your site, starting top to bottom):

Header / Menu
The menu is boring. It has an inconsistent padding in relation to the rest of the website. It's aligned right with right margin of I don't know, 30px? Why right align the menu on the page when the entire site is centered? Give it more padding, align it correctly with the site. The white on gray is just very bland, to me.

The middle
Regarding the font used for both the title and the extra info directly beneath it: It's hard to read and I personally don't like it.

Copy / Middle-bottom / Text Layout
The layout of the text, in what seems to be a 2 column layout (sort of), is disjointed. The padding of the left column text is much larger than the padding of the right column text. I'd suggest you fix that, have things align properly.

Footer / Bottom
Please get rid of the black bar at the bottom. It is very odd. The links to W3 verification aren't necessary on the front page of a portfolio IMO. Also, they are layed out weirdly.

I sound like a broken record, I know, but try and incorporate some sort of grid method into your design, it will help the content flow easier, I think. Overall, it could be much better. It just needs some work.

But then again, this is just my 2 cents.
