Designers are strange :)

Looks good but please learn xHTML and CSS. The basics is all you nee ffor that design, and the basics won't even take an hour to learn. W3Schools or HTMLdog will have all you need to know for this. Just noticed this in your source. Quote:
Just backs me up in telling you to learn some code. Its really easy. Your stuff looks real good though. Also text right at the bottom is way too small and near impossible to read unless you have a really small screen resolution. But well done anyway. |

Considering what it is, I think its fine lol, works in everything, you're not claiming you're a web developer or coder, its purely design and its all pretty well laid out. Not sure about the design superstar bit though, or the colour is my life - the type looks a bit messy, and the use of the golden arches just seems a bit random? |

Thanks for the comments guys! I agree about the desperate state of the code, I've been wanting to learn it but never got around to doing it. It always somehow put s me off when I look at it. As for the "color is my life", i tend to rush things when I design and can't keep up with the flow of thoughts going through my head so i tend to make these kinds of mistakes. Teachers at school keep telling me all the time, that I should go over these things and make the updated improved versions of the same design, but i never feel like returning to the same design. Instead , I abandon this one and create something completely new, of course with the same mistakes. Does that happen to any of you guys? Anyways, thanks for the comments, appreciate them |

Nice designs. I agree with the dreamweaver bit. You don't seem to be trying to sell professional web design, so in now way am I surprised that your code isn't up to standards. Good coding technique is always a plus, but if you're a print designer, nothing wrong with how you did yours or even having someone else do your site if you really want it coded nicely. Good luck. |

Seconded sort of. The key for you is the learn DIV/CSS coding. However if you only going to stick to print design, it may be a different story entirely. |

Dunno why people are jumping on him for the code. It's plainly obvious from the simple site that he's a graphic designer who just threw his work up online for people to see. Where does it say web designer? I like the style of your work dude. And uhm...the random picture of the asian chick is a nice touch. (If the majority of the hits to your website come from straight guys I guess) |
