Contest Results

For anyone who remembers I asked for critiques on this site mafian.v3x.biz since I was submitting it into a contest. (BPA Web Design Team--Secondary school coompetition)

I ended up placing Second in the state, so I get to advance to Nationals. I really want to do well at Nationals so more critiques are welcome I have 6 weeks to make changes.

You can start off by fixing the footer.

I would too !!

I know the school was John Overton in TN but at the competition they didn't give out the urls of the other websites infact your site doesn't have to be online until April 2

Trust I'm trying to find the winning site. When I do i'll definately let you know.

Make the fonts consistent. Get rid of the bevel and emboss effects on the 'transportation', 'entertainment' and 'communications' text (and i expected them to have links on them). Your dropdown menu is garbage at the moment. The flash needs to be auto activated (google "flash activex fix"). Personally I don't like how the background moves up and down when the page scrolls. Make it W3C XHTML valid (that should score big points at a competition).

That should get you started.
