Was in Himmel... What are you trying to create here? The logo looks great - no idea what the letters are - "gsgd" mayhap? Ten points for colour. Why spoil a smart typographical whatever with pictures? Would they show something no-one has seen before or would they be space filler? And if you have some nicely proportioned white space, why fill it?

I don't care for it, but it's not without its good points. The logo isn't bad.

I see no harm in pushing it a little further.

The logo looks like a Pacman orgie - I don't hate it but reckon it could do with some refinement.

Otherwise it's all a bit half-arsed isn't it?

I think you really ought to develop the idea a bit further before folk can give a proper feedback.

Definitely push it further. It looks too bland honestly.

I know you're called 'George Smith Graphic Design' but do you have to use a form of GSGD as your logo?

hahaha, is that their mission statement?

design-forum.editboard.com
Home of shit designers who can't take criticism.

Anyway, I like the logo - the colours might work as well if the layout was better. Hating the typo for 'graphic and web design'.

Haha, you suck! (let's see what type of invitation this brings you)

I think the logo could work, maybe with looser tracking and a tad more tinkering of the letterforms.

I generally like yellow, but this one has a greenish tint that makes it look like an illness. I think.

On another note, you're spending too much time on it, just get something online and get it over with. You've had a few decent designs so far, but haven't implemented either. Designing for yourself is always difficult and most of the time counter-productive.

Take a break from it now. It'll come.

Nothing in particular I just remember trying to make a logo using D,J,G & D and found that it was a particularly awkward logo to compose so I opted for another route - the amount of redesigns I see you making with yours I figured you were finding the same thing
