I am not new at web-design but I am still a noob, I was wondering if you guys could please critique my site. I am about to go public with this site, by the end of the week probably, and I was wondering if there is anything that might pop-out to people. I have been staring at it for hours and well I don't see what is wrong, or if there is anything wrong.

I just need a couple of new eyes staring at it.

nothing to comment really, this is quite a standard wordpress...
get rid of the hover underline in the title.

ha john,
i am noob but i personally think that your site is very nice and simple.
the only thing im not sure about is on the "latest news" page the link headings for each news article text colour is a bit cack green for my liking but it is just my personal preference, and again i am no web designer just thought you might want my oppinion.

I don't understand, you guys seem to just disregard Wordpress. Do web designers not really care for it? I spent like three hours on this, are you just implying that I should just skip wordpress? I am new, I apologize for all the questions, I just want to know.

I am also half done with another one gomezarmando.net, YES, it is wordpress but I thought it was something worth following since it is nice. Please post what you think.

wordpress is great. everybody agrees on that.
some prefer expression engine, some others modX, and so on.

but only the brave dive into TYPO3

the horizontal nav shouldn't disappear when you go to forums.

also, the search style replacement onload is wierd.

Nothing wrong with Wordpress. People are just saying it looks like any other WP template out there. Decent but not very inspiring.

The other one, on the other hand, is very nice. Needs a little work but I like it.
All in all not bad for a beginner at all.
