Does the company make arrows & targets? Whats with the awful font? it makes reading it hard and the x&l are set to close. The mark is very loose the target looks like it's a seperate mark. The target also looks like it was drawn in microsoft paint and does not look the least bit professional. The uppercase strapline below looks wrong as it doesn't sit well with the script font above (writing long titles in uppercase always looks bad as it makes the line harder to read) Lose the drop shadow. whats facebook?

I understand the arrow link (I think) it's a robin hood reference? but it's meaningless in the context of a mechanical services company logo, unless you want to it to say that the company always hits the mark or something - in which case you need to tie it in to the logo and make it more relevant at the moment it's just confusing. do what cantona said about the typeface |

I'm guessing this is a small company based in Loxley? Birth place of Robin Hood right? While the arrow theme might have no significance to what the company does, if it's only a small company that operates only in and around Loxley, I suspect that most of the customers will understand the arrow thing.. in which case, it's not really a bad idea. But you could clean it up, simplify it etc.. And as said before, loose the drop shadow. |

yeah the company is based in loxley and yes they are only small at the moment. They suggested a Robin Hood theme and this was a loose link to try and satisfy the brief without just sticking a man in green tights on or something.. |

yeah that sounds like a client suggestion, you may try to discuss with the client his thoughts between links with mechanical services and a mythical outlaw. If the fact that the business is in Loxley is very important to the business there's a justification for the link, maybe attemt to use something that combines robin hood and pipe fitting - good luck |

the link is that they used to work for rivelin mechanical services and he lives in loxley and thought it would piss him off, apparently these two places are pretty close in sheffield by the way i considered an arrow stuck in the ground with its stem making part of the x in loxley but making this in photoshop was making my head hurt |
