I dunno if Im being over critical but the grid doesnt seem too great, the content looks scattered because there is no real defining lines between the columns.

Not keen on the type heirachy either, seems very up-and-down.

I guess its work in progress anyway...

That's pretty clean, though maybe abit too clean & plain for my tastes.

Content does look abit too scattered, yeah. I know everyone likes cake™ and everything, but that doesn't mean you have to keep telling us that on the same page. I'd say ditch the extra slogan and copyright from the right-hand side or move it to the bottom.

I'm not sure if it exactly needs lines... but I have to agree - the design seems very 'airy'.

Its nice, I like. I agree with whats been said i think your main column needs to stick out and be defined more - maybe give it a light bg colour?

thanks all. I'm happy with airy. And I'll work on those layout issues.

mik did the initial design and left me to butcher it.

You need to introduce a few layout elements.

Need a dividing element that could either incorporate "Posted in Home, Accessories, Tableware | Permalink | 0 Comments" or make those elements stand out.

Grids fine although i would sort out where you advertising is going - either on the right hand side or between articles - wouldnt have both.

Need to finalise what you links are going to be - underlined or blocked selected.

think search is in wrong place - top right for that.

looking good sir, favourites is a nice touch.
Might look better centered with a white bg instead of the pale grey ?

those ice shot glasses look cool, think ill be checking this site alot

like the site, but not a fan of the design though im afraid the main content seems squashed into the left. Perhaps it would be better to merge the two right hand columns, to make one? Could also benefit from being fluid, or at least centered. Only running at 1280x1024 and see squashed together columns with lots of greyspace to the right.

Also the navigation isnt as obvious/cool as it could be. Some change when you hover or are on that page perhaps? Not a fan of that font, ive seen it used alot (not as much as verdana) but personally think its ugly. Verdana pisses all over it for displaying content!

Anyway, feel free to ignore me, its your site and I like the content, so meh.

Don't listen to Luke, the Georgia's nice. Kinda agree on the main column, the items feel a bit squashed and sort of run together.

I'd also mention what gray mentioned about the grid. All's well but the alignment of the navigation item "About" is off. I'd say push it right that 15 or so pixels to vertically align with the content below it.

Seems fast. No problems with browsing. Looks great, overall.

Liking it a lot. Quick to load - loads of white space

Think that the same about the alignment of the second tier nav + you might want to add something to define the central/right hand columns - not sure what kind of device though.
