Loads fine for me.

As for constructive criticism, the information is a bit scattered, yes, and try and stick with 1 or 2 font styles! It's just the 3 columns at the top that get me, but other than that it looks good

Out of curiosity, are you using an off-the-shelf (or modified) CMS or something custom?

I like Cake. Does it need that extra space on the left? Would fit properly on 1024x768 if you took it down a bit.

How easy is Expression Engine to get to know and customise? Am I going to be alright to get my head round the free version, and then apply the learned knowledge to the commercial one? How easy is it to lock down for clients so they can only edit/update what you want them to? Can you do that with the free version?

it's the easiest cms I've used to customise. the more you use it the easier it is. Sorry, that's a bit obvious.

I've never used Core but it does come with most features you need to get started. There's no query module which does come in handy but isn't needed really when learning.

You can lock down areas in the control panel using member groups.

You can't use Core for commercial purposes.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, was aware of the commercial limitations, but didn't want to pay out without having a chance to look at it properly, what does the query module do?

allows you to do custom database queries. Not always needed but I was just trying to think of something Core can't do.

any chance you could put images in your feed?

bit annoying as I need to actually go to the site to see things. i know it might be intentional, but i'd be more likely to go 'vote' on something if i could see the pic straight off in the feed. just a suggestion!
