you're both right. the current grille sucks because I don't know what I'm doing. It's criss-crossed lines. I couldn't figure out how to properly highlight them and make it look like they connect at each criss-cross, rather than a bunch of angled lines going one way being on top of a bunch of angled lines going another way. I don't even know how to mask yet in Illustrator. Lol.
