Third and last time:
I would've gone typography only. Because it looks ok enogh to me. It's elegant and appealing, the other graphical elements only distract fom the actual content. How about you lose the backgrounds, but use instead of PS efects, actual pictures of the actual objects crafted? Buts square and self-explanatory, not backgrounds, not rounded cuts...

Yeah thanks loads for your comments as said they have all been taken into consideration, and yes I have just talked to the customer about losing the BG, and just using white.

Hopefully I will learn as I try!
