That's really nice. How come the other site you posted up isn't in this league?

A couple of comments though:

1. You'd be better off using CSS to swap the images rather than DW Javascript.
2. Format your <p> paragraphs and line-height in CSS so you don't have to use <br><br>, you'll achieve much greater control this way.

I like the iconic navigation very much, but the text looks a little floaty, as if it needs something either side to fill the space.

Overall, good job mate!

The icons are very nice. The only thing I might suggest is bringing up the contrast just a little, I looked at it on my laptop in a semi-bright room and it was very had to read, could not even see the borders at all. Not that the colors are bad, just people with dark monitors will have a hard time.

Agreed. Very nice. a few tweaks and you've got a winner.

Do what jase said about your rollover code.
also get some headers to make your markup more semantic and change the doctype to xhtml 1.0 strict.

The header text saying 'aurora spririt' is, i'm sorry to say, pretty atrocious!

The icons are hard to make out too and those random things on the bottom left and right dont need to be there.

Add a subtle gradient background too.

As jase1000, sort out the rollovers. For me I also felt that they were a bit too subtle.

This:
Code:
<div id="textbody"> <b>Epiphany</b><br><br> Night has fallen, shadows crept, Across the forest while all others slept, Save one creatue atop the hill, The impenetrable darkness was quiet and still, <br><br> The creature, a wolf, sings into the night, Sad and mournful, bathed in light, His last thread of hope keeps him calling for some, Company he's almost sure will never come, <br><br> "You've driven us out and invaded our home, You've robbed us of our freedom to roam, You plough through our land without consideration, And leave in your wake a trail of devastation," <br><br> "So long as your cities grow and buildings get taller, My little hiding places will keep getting smaller, So many things i've never done for which i take the blame, You take a gun and hunt me down just so i'll die in shame," </div>

Should look like this:
Code:
<div id="textbody"> <h1>Epiphany</h1> <p>Night has fallen, shadows crept, Across the forest while all others slept, Save one creatue atop the hill, The impenetrable darkness was quiet and still, </p> <p> The creature, a wolf, sings into the night, Sad and mournful, bathed in light, His last thread of hope keeps him calling for some, Company he's almost sure will never come, </p> <p> "You've driven us out and invaded our home, You've robbed us of our freedom to roam, You plough through our land without consideration, And leave in your wake a trail of devastation," </p> <p> "So long as your cities grow and buildings get taller, My little hiding places will keep getting smaller, So many things i've never done for which i take the blame, You take a gun and hunt me down just so i'll die in shame," </p> </div>

very nice

I liked it alot. So far anyway. It will be interesting to see if everything lines up on the linked pages and if they flow continues. It's very good though.
