This is a personal project I'm working on. I am going to try and get this to work for local bands at first and if it works - see if I can't expand. Please let me know what you think of the design and concept. It still needs some tweaking but the general concept is there. Criticism and advise appreciated. ta.

Looks good i like it. Because you're using a couple of tiled background-images the site will be real inflexible - if a user increases the text size through their browser the content will no longer line up with the bgs. Plus you're really restricted to how much text you can add to each section - effectively each section has a fixed height - as the bg again won't stretch with the content.

you could make this a more flexible layout using background-colors..

Really like it. The only let down is the wishy washy main logo IMO. Nice work.
