critique please - a sketchy upleft v2

hi there, I hope I can get some feedback and pointers on how I can improve my site. http://upleft.co.uk

What don't you like? And all the usual comments and critique please

It took a turn for the 2.0 but I don't know how it worked out, oh and bare in mind that the portfolio section has nothing in it because I don't know how to layout that page yet. I can't work out what looks good for it, I may totally redesign the site again but I just wanted something to work with.

What do you have to say? http://upleft.co.uk

Thanks.

Its simple and generally likeable.

One small suggestion would be that your portfolio would supply links to the actual working sites.

Excellent Rothko quote, but the site doesn't really follow those priniciples in my book. Nice enough though.

The web portfolio section definitely needs work, I need to know how to structure it nicely, not sure yet though.

Haha, that was random, I just remember parts of that quote and in my independant study I'm writing at the moment I just seem to be writing in that style, it's pretty funny to read.

Its pretty nice. Welcoming layout, clean and effective. However I think it would be a better idea next time around that you include your logo into the graphic. Slight pixelation. but all in all. put 2 points on the board
