College Work
Just thought I'd stick up something a bit different, I've been doing my 3D rotation at art college, here's the results of a few small briefs: http://www.2605.co.uk/college1.htm http://www.2605.co.uk/college2.htm Also, Andy (team-andy) has stuck a load of his college work on from his visual communications rotation, great stuff: www.andycallahan.co.uk |

the sticks one reminds me of some work this kid did and showed when i interviewed him for a position at leeds Met for fine art!!... he had pushed it one step further and used this liquid stuff made for model airplane wings, you dip the frame in the liquid and pull it out then within seconds it solidifies and becomes a translucent membrane... very good... real interesting.. can't remember what its called you could do some research... ask at some model stores... if you wanted to!? [quote=dorian]The presentation could/should be better... photos are not the best quality - maybe b/w would work better? /QUOTE] I agree, my camera's useless - they're going to be printed as normal photos though so should look better then - I'll def try some in b/w though. Cheers for the feedback. |

if you are gonna take the photos again try multiply light sources, at differing distances to give multiply shadows but with different gradient of shadow tint. Don't know how good your camera is but close your aperture down this way you should be able to increase your depth of field!!! Maybe place them on a mirrored surface and play with the geometry.... |
