Well, It really depends on what your target age group is for the website. I think it's a great design for teens or young adults, because of the sounds and interactivity involved. The flash animation is used tactfully, and for a purpose (to draw attention the menu... I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise) - I like that. It looks great, and I think the images are used generously, but not overdone. Completely appropriate for a photography website. -acousticsam |

Hi Hanszorg, The site is ok, I like how your navigation is with a camera screen. My only thing is..I think you have too many elements fighting for attention, which could lead someone to believe the site is amateurish. For example, you have a "Sponsers" link, but you also show the sponsers in the lower right background of everypage, which is too much. The colors around the edges of the site (the brick, etc.) are very bright and saturated, which kind of dillutes the center image, the click mumbai logo, and your main message of its significance. Ask yourself "what do I want the eye to see most?" and make those elements the most vibrant and interesting. I think a younger crowd needs all that activity going on (the vibrant side colors), as well as the hand written text, so if it is tailored towards them, then I think it works pretty well. |
