Logo Design

Need some feedback on this logo I've been working on. It's for a designers network type thingy.

nice composition; might benefit from some fading on the tree trunk and branches....

not very web 2.0; which is a good thing!

Love your logo. The only comment I would make is that at first glance, I saw the tree as capital letter 'C' and thought it was supposed to be part of the company name. But maybe that was just me. Nice work.

Nice work mate. I agree with Justinraff about the tree reading as a 'C'.
Perhaps a horizontal flip would suffice?

Hmm... Thanks for all the feedback. I see what some you guys are saying about the tree reading as a C. I wanted it to encapsulate the text to a certain degree so that the logo and text where brought together as one item. Will have a look at it.

excellent - looks like the tree has roots now - conveys 'strength'

you know, apple computers will probably sue you for using an image of an apple. apparently they bought the rights to the apple from god (author of the bestseller "the bible") in 1985.

They're oranges, not apples
