I dunno, the ad was designed on a G5 Powermac

But we do use some Alienware machines at the agency I work for. They're mostly used for video editing and such and the designer's have no complaints. I personally would never use a PC just b/c of Windows. Personal preferance.

Interesting. The new Alienware campaign reminds me of a song my band wrote several years ago.

I think you can still play up the glow using multiple hues of blue, and maybe use a swirl effect (like a twister) so it looks like the elements are 'busting' out of the machine. Right now it looks like they are happily humming around (if that's what you intended then kudos). Also the text treatment, though appropriate for this market, can be made easier to read as well... remember when people read mags, you need straight up stopping power to get them to see your ads! Over all nice work.

Very nice, agree with architect though. It seems as if they're just floating in front of the screen.

I dig it. Very appropriate to the subject/brand. And purty to boot.

Not bad- not sure about the 'come out and play' text positioning; it looks a little orphaned from the rest of the piece. But as pgo says, it's appropriate to the Alienware brand.

Looks like what you would expect from one of these adds but there seems a bit of a mish-mash of styles. The medival text doesn't really go with the area51 style alien. Also, as was said above, the composition feels off.

Technically impressive though.

the only reason i was asking is because of the pictures of aliens, black letter typeface and the fact they call the computer area 51.

The reason for the medievil text is that it's part of the actual COAP campaign the agency I work for developed for AW.

Nice. The title doesn't work for me though... it seems to appear mis-aligned, possible too much black space around it.. but thats just me.
