not bad. The menus could do with a little more room and a little more styling as could the subscribe and log in buttons. I presumed the images at the top would all be links - a bit strange that only one was.

And I guess if I was being picky I'd say that the header part of the page looks right for the market/audience but not sure if the rest of the page marries wth it that well... perhaps add some black down below somewhere?

All in all not a bad job at all

Agreed for a first timer. All you have to do is cut and paste your css into a separate file and link to it instead.

The sheer size of it alone is bound to affect the speed your page loads obviously. Plus is much tidier - being a bit picky.

Not a bad job at all is the consensus so far. And I agree with it.

I will say that you might do more to customize the phpBB forum. I can still tell it's just barely changed from its default templates. Also, make sure you keep your phpBB updated immediately as updates are released. There's far too many security issues with phpBB (partly due to its popularity) for one to install it and let it be. Fair warning.

Only thing i havnt changed was the forum body and footer. I have been playing around with the php structure trying to be more php savy.

Like the DN3music Crew section I used the same basic structure as the members profile but took things out and added things. and for the links page i modified the FAQ page and turned it into a links page. so the links page is st8 php.

I think when i feel im totaly done with the page i will def create a css file. just find it easer to design with the css still on the first page.

I started off with all flash so playin around with tpl files and php is way new.

yah ill give that a shot lol yah i just realised that i didnt have the links set on some of those banners. I had just droped the one in flash because a few people were having trouble seeing the javascript rotator. I think there was some kind of conflist with having two javascript rotators.

I hear a lot of people say this and I just don't understand why...it's always confused me.

Anyway, on the phpBB thing, I think the biggest thing you should change are the default icons - you know the circle with the page in it. They don't really fit with the site.
