Satan or Ok? Image2HTML.co.uk

Well folks,

How do you see this tool? The spawn of satan or is it OK?

http://www.image2HTML.co.uk

Not sure on whether to launch it fully or not, there is a lot that could still be done. But what do you think of the concept?

interesting.

just tried a 5.5k jpg (200 X 200), turned it into 948k of code. so that sucks.

for perspective, the homepage of designerstalk is about 55k.

so a 200px jpg becomes the size of nearly 20 DTY homepages in html...

and this was using tables (as recommended) because it claims to be the most size efficient method.

was that a css conversion? tables seem to work best - they produce least code and work in Hotmail and Outlook. the more simple the graphic the better too.

lol yeah, hense the heading... "satan or ok?". I've been debating whether to leave it live or not... I could probably cut down the code by another 10% (on average) but its on a shared server so i dont want too much processing - it's still a spammers delight tho =S
