just a question?
How come 90% of the critique from this forum sounds like a little kiddy calling names and not professional peers helping one another to better themselves? with designers and graphic artists always having varying levels of knowledge and skill I always try my best to give good honest encouraging advice, this is by far one of the most talented communities I frequent but i also feel this is one of the most negative forums. Competiton is healthy but as designers/developers/graphic artists we are not helping ourselves portray a professionalism that other industries have aquired and I think its due inlarge to to the small mindedness and lack of professional grace so often displayed here! Sorry if I offended anyone but I believe strongly that we need a shift in attitude and professionalism so we can aquire accreditation like other industries. Thanks for all your comments, and if you havent got anything professional to say please keep it to yourself! |

Rubbish. We've given you plenty of criticism in the past but it gets tiring when you come back asking for crit for such a similar site, barely changed. Show us something different that you've done and we'll give you good feedback, I've never seen anything else of yours but this blog. I seem to remember offering a load of suggestions on how to improve - for instance, you were offering web design services on the site, but not giving any examples of your work. None of my suggestions were taken on board. Don't expect people to say "Wow yeah it still looks really good" everytime you come back with the same website. |

Thanks for the critique. Some great poinmts for which I will look into. The layout is actually somewhat of a miracle, the site can withstand from 800 x 600 all the way uptp 2048 x 1536 still maintaining good physical layout and structure. The text is in a relative measurement so u can increase text size by going to your browsers options. And the site was liquid, but to be able to have the background images portrayed correctly I had to add come percentages, thus the layout is a hybrid! My original idea for the logo can be seen on any page except the homepage, I am still working out this flaw! I have got rid of as many .png's as I can, but need the large .png on the main areas for effect! - well for now! My last posting on here was with the site running a bespoke backend, I went over to wordpress, well cos wordpress rocks! Thanks for all the comments! |
