I know that everyone here has valuable input and I was hoping, before I actually finish my site, if you could have a look at this one page tester and let me know whether you think I’m going into the right direction? www.mgpwr.co.uk Thank you Mark |

argh! lol I overwrote the page by accident when i used smartftp to upload all my folders - and I never backed up my design because I’m on a computer that’s not my own! Damn! But meh! If Narate never liked it, maybe its fate it died, and yes the white background is very orgasmic |

i don't mean to be harsh but, this is a disaster. navigation is enormous and unattractive. photoshop techniques are amateurish and overdone giant arrows are... just not good think clean and simple. |

If you're planning to build it in flash, ask yourself - "why would i?" That site, according to the design, could easily be layed out in HTML/CSS and unless things are going to be moving about considerably then it looks like a pointless exercise to build it in flash, in my opinion. Unless you want to learn flash, in which case build a flash site, not a site that could be built in HTML. I'm not really into the site design to be honest, and it's difficult for me to criticise design when my own design skills aren't that great. Will say this - the colours, and you have LOADS of them, don't seem to match. How about sticking with a palette of say 3 or 4 colours? The menu I assume pops out when a user rolls over the menu arrow? It looks ugly and out of place. The logo is "ok", perhaps the best bit of it I think, but too many colours. I'm not sure what else to say other than "it's not the best I've ever seen". |

I mainly dislike the logo - really annoying photoshop technique that looks dated. |

the logo looks like something from a teenage magazine circa 1998, the yellow, maroon and white doesn't sit nice for me, and same as above the arrows are just mental. whats facebook?
