You got enought slices there? LOL. I like the concept of a creative nav bar buts its kinda hard to read. Im a designer so its fine to me but a regular person might find it hard to read. Not saying I would change it at all but just something to think about. Your work is nice, goodjob...

Slice and dice!
Trying to pull of a one pager is a hard task. Guess I'll have to take out some work to make it work. Thanks for the words...

Fantasic works. Really, some of the best stuff that's been posted on here - at least in recent memory. Some of the figures remind me of that painter - I can't remember his name - who only painted large people...I believe he was Mexican or Latin American. Anyway.

I don't say this often, but have you consider just using Flash?

Could be Diego Rivera (mexican) or Fernando Botero (colombian). Too big of a shoe for a size 10 to fill, but thanks anyway. Kinda wanted to keep it simple, besides, its difficult for an old dog to learn new flash...

your reel is really amazing. congrats.

You have such amazing work and ideas but I feel like the site isnt showing it properly. The navigation is kind of a turn off and seems complicated initially.

welcome to the forum i think a lot of people here could learn a thing or two from your work.

you really should be using flash for your website instead of all those images

Agreed. You could really go to town with the existing layout, do some really powerful animations. Love the illustrations.

I was scared at first when the site began to load, but once it did it looks great. I had no issues navigating and I didn't find it irritating at all, good work all around. I agree flash may do this better, and wouldn't really be too hard (in fact it should be easier than what you have done so far..).

As for your work, what I saw looked good to me, but I know nothing of illustration, so I'll just take everyone else's word for it (my girlfriend is an illustrator, I just don't understand it :P..).

Great site - seriously liking the work and the concept.

BUT...(always one of those)...being a coder/designer (not the other way round currently due to projects) I couldn't help but notice your coding mate - awful. Completely - which greatly affects the load time. My guess is that is was generated using a program using PS or ImageReady...

That's the only gripe - However Flash would work a charm mate. "So say we all."

to echo:

Fine work in a poorly executed portfolio. Flash was also my first thought when I saw that - exported IR html is a not a great way produce a website - the technology gets in the way of the content - no-one can afford that these days - peoples attention spans are too short...

Have to admit there was something quite hypnotic about hundreds of tiny image slices loading slowly. Interesting effect- bet if you went overboard with it that would look nuts. But be pointless.
