erm no... I just like it... I guess I shouldn't have it I dunno what I should do for my website!!! Have you got any ideas? The problem is that a lot of websites on cssbeauty and other sites are for businesses, and not just a portfolio so its hard to get inspiration...

Show an example of your work not a baloon

ok.. Thanks I really like the swirly backgrounds, like the kinds you get on surfboards sometimes, like the one on this site: Here and here Do you know how to draw these kind of backgrounds? Or, where can you get them? Thanks :]

my advice is to try something original to stand out. swirls are a tired cliche.

What kind of portfolio are you going to be showcasing on your website?

It's not good. But I have seen worse.
We all had to start somewhere and if you only have one example of work to show and intend to form design into a business you will need to look into other ways to display your creativity.
Strip back the elements of the design to the basics (as Narate said), text and photography.
Present this in a basic, ledgible format and you could try and apply your unique style though imagery (until you have some work to show).

See attachment.

Thanks a lot! I have been looking through onepagefolios.com since you all said that it would be best to have a basic thing, and thats definately what I am going to do Do you mean add some pictures and things? I do like art, and I'm not terrible at it, but the problem is that when I scan them in, they don't look as good because they lose quality... Do you know how to fix this?

why do you need a portfolio website promoting webdesign while you don't even have inspiration for your own site ?
