Rossnolagh Website
Hi everyone! This is the first website I have ever made, and I was wondering what you think and how I can improve it. It is not finished, there will be more photos and I still have to write all the content. Also, for some reason it doesn't work properly in internet explorer. Things aren't lined up in it. Do you know how to fix it? This is not a website that I am selling to someone, it's just to advertise our holiday house :P Heres the link: The Rossnowlagh Site |

Despite the obvious sarcasm (aforementioned The good thing is that you've tried to build the site using CSS/DIV's so that a great start. There are way too many bad things to list (so I'll leave that to everyone else who can be bothered), the best thing in my opinion is go to www.cssbeauty.com and look at some well designed sites there. You'll get (hopefully) much inspiration from this site alone. |

Markup is basically solid. Your CSS could use a little work - for starters, move the code in the <style> element into your external stylesheet. For something like this you don't really need to be using absolute positioning. What you need to work on is visual design and implementing that visual design in as efficient a manner possible. |
