Quick concept.

Messing about with a site design, and hour by hour it grew into this. I stuck my logo on and I would quite like it as my own site. However, I would love your feedback.

love the swirls and flowers, and the logo, even the navigation, great header. I think it works very well for a blog, nice colours.

Who's the pretty lady? lol.

The best I've seen from you yet tbh

I've never been a fan of scanlines, have you tried seeing what it looks like without them? Others might disagree though.

The font you've used for the "blog" title is just...bad, I'd try and keep it to a similar font as the rest, perhaps just try a different weight.

It has potential

A bit dated, too many cliches - the tight kerning on the font, the 45. lines, the vector swirls etc.

I think that the content area is too narrow. Extend the blue/dark gray more. Also the logo placement/size doesn't fit too well.

I agree. It needs a bit of "you" in it. It doesn't feel in any way personal - just kind of generic.

Don't get me wrong - it's pretty, but it's also same-y.

Also, at a quick glance it looks like 4 different typefaces? Am I fooling myself or is that correct? I like the one that says "blog".

Not normally a fan of thin sites, but i think you've done a good job i like it - however, might not look so attractive if you have alot of content. Does use of lot of internet cliches with the vector swirls, scanlines and tight kerning but i like that stuff.

without trying to sound belligerent here PGO i think this design shows more flair and is less generic than your effort. However that being said i do like your site buddy!

Just remember that you don't really know me - or what is "personal" to me. Why is "flair" a good thing?

I wasn't trying to be belligerent either. It just felt like a combination of trends all thrown together with little purpose.

I don't like that site of mine any longer anyway.
