I've got nothing against America Jr. (sorry, one of my favorite Simpsons quotes) In fact, if I were to leave the US, Canada would be my first choice.

I'm sure there's equal levels of distrust on either side of the border. Here, conservatives/Republicans tend to think Canada is a socialist country because they provide health insurance through taxes (oh, the horror - a country run amok with damned dirty liberals and their communist ideas like "sharing" and "for the common good") and up there they probably think we're a bunch of gun toting cowboys - which is an understandable perception, I must say.
