Latest And Greatest

Howdy all

I'm looking for some feedback on some of the latest projects i've completed. I just want to know if there is anything obvious sticking out that is needed to get them to 'the next level'.

My own website - www.back9media.com.au
The Bedroom Nightclub - www.thebedroom.net.au
MFR - www.mackeldenfamilyracing.com

I welcome all comments and suggestions.

way too much to mention.

designs look dated, font tags, spacer gifs, horrendous bloated code, no DTD... you do know the 90's are over dont you? One of them looks like a template?

You need to upgrade your way of working to the latest methods (xhtml, css, etc) esp. if you're going to post for critique here

the mfr site has black text on a navy bg with un-css'd links. looks terrible.

I've never been a fan of those "template" designs, they've always looked awful, and as said, they're so not in fashion anymore.

That mackelden racing, and the nightclub one look horrible imo, reminds me of those crappy american site's. Are you american?

Take a look around http://www.cssbeauty.com/ and see where your going wrong.

Thanks

Wow...I wasn't expecting people to be that brutally honest, but that's good. No point in sugar coating it.

The common concensus seems to be the need to use CSS...that's positive as I had already ordered a couple of books on CSS a few days ago. So I will climb myself out of the 90's.

Ryanarts - No...not American. Australian.

The Back 9 Media website was loosely based on a template, the other 2 websites I made from scratch.

Once again...thanks everyone for the feedback. I'll take your comments on board and see if I can improve them.

Cheers
Mikey
