Quick C&C please

It's a work in progress at the moment, but it's taking shape

can you have a quick look and tell me if there's anything that stands out as needing work?

The teal color that underlies some of the boxes dose not look that good to me..

Their are a few things that just look a bit akward I just can not put my finger on it..

But overall very nice for work in progress

Looks pretty good. I think it could do without the stripes in the background - just a solid color would be fine, I think.

I think it's good work in progress. As pgo, a solid bg color is probably better.

However I can see the relation (and where you were going) with the bg pattern and the navigation.

Looks a little "slow" to me in delivering content to the reader -- I think there is too much empty space.

Could the navigation bar be centered ? ( * Home * This is a top link * This is a top link * Search by Location )

I like how you used the color theme. Very nice. A minor detail that sticks out to me is the rounded corners. It seems like you used teh same radius on the inner boxes as you did on the outer box, so naturally, the inner boxes look a bit to "fat" and they don't follow the edge of your outer ones smoothly. But, like I said. Minor.
