Do you ginger hair? - if so leave it - it's great. If not there's a decent logo in there, maybe the flames aren't necessary? or maybe make em read 'mazziotti' The mouth looks a little off too - what are you try to say? - apart from the obvoius "I'm a (shit) hot designer." At the moment you are planting yourself firmly in the middle of the road - not memorable, clever or original... yet. |

Jordan, I think you need to take note of crits elsewhere sunshine and act on em. I'm not going to comment on the concept as you are obviously married to this one. But for the execution, sort your curves they look like you have quickly skimmed around with the bezier tool, the inner flames are bad. Sort the downsizing issues (with the fine lines that'll disappear when printed at smaller sizes), also the guy looks like he has been listening to Dido and Coldplay 24/7 for the past 4 years. Give him personality make it individual. This is a creative mark, so make it creative, it doesn't need be clever, or wild, just don't make it glum. Also I consider the type needs more thought, but I guess this will come with the shaping of the mark. |

I think of ginger kid with glasses being set on fire. Why not keep it simple and let your work do the talking? I always think it's a bit dodgy when you come across a design agency with a pictorial logo. |
