Booklet

A5, single spot colour, uncoated stock, 100 leafs.

Bound using an elastic band so the client can swap pages and customise the book depending on who the customers are.

I like that - especially the rubber band binding. Clever.

Nice idea but do the pages open far enough?
Looks a bit tight in second picture.

Edit - looking at the dots on the cover, I guess its just the shot.

Sweet.
It's so nice to get something physical at the end of a job.
I want to do more print work.

Thanks for the feedback, its only a small job but it was fun to do. The booklet also came in a pack with a golf pencil so when the client was giving his presentation his customers could make notes in the lined section at the back (pic 1).

Just thought i'd try post the odd bit of print work up online as it always seems to be websites.

How bouts a bit of a background??

Who is it for? What do they do? What's their demographic?

Don't get me wrong, I like it, but without knowing what it's for, (and I can't tell from the images) it is just a generic booklet with no direction...

Its for a series of talks/lectures on dentistry. The books sections change/grow dependant on what is being talked about and at what level beginner/expert etc. the course is.

The lined section at the back (pic 1) is there so delegates can make notes on each lecture.

What kind of paper did you use? Also did u get it custom die cut or just have your printer drill hole on the sides for the rubber band to go?

The holes were drilled by the printer - as it was cheaper than having a die made up. The paper is uncoated 200 gsm from zanders. The white elastic bands are from a company in hertfordshire. The spot colour is 337. The printing was done by ESL in Manchester.

Any other questions about the book?
