I exported some animations from Poser using a slutty .bvh mocap walk i've got. Put two copies of the same animation on with one coloured red and stretched out a bit underneath the other. Then used the top one as an animated mask and scrolled the images through it. Then I put a few fades on top of the mask/pic layer to smooth it out a bit.

And that was that!
