Logo critique

Hi there,

Working on a logo for two companies (food industry) who have a mutual spin-off. Client insists on red and gray. I would have proposed green and gray. Does this work for you guys?

Thanks a lot...
Kris

Spelling is correct now. Not native English and not having a lot of spare time... so errors do tend to happen in this preliminary stage.

Isn't it 'Sort out your spelling' in stead of 'Sort your spelling out...'

The idea: two forces pulling in different directions but still nearly touching each other...
They would be complementary...

Nope... Client asked specificaly not to include any reference to food... Don't know why though. Got not much of a briefing, didn't even get the names of both companies...
