New site: feedback appreciated
Hi all, first post and i'm diving into the deep...asking for opinions! Please be gentle I finally got the time to create a portfolio site for myself. Nothing fancy but it does the job. I'm looking for constructive criticism on the design and interaction, so if you could look at it that would be highly appreciated! url: http://www.rutger-ontwerp.nl/new_site/ 1. It's all in Dutch but apart from that it's pretty normal. 2. I'm having trouble running php on my server so the contact form is disabled for now. 3. Some explanation on the logo: Rutger is my first name, "ontwerp" is dutch for design. I liked the idea of the exclamation point as a word. |

I really like it, good choice of colors, simple, crisp and clean. The only thing wich is just a detail but anyway; the tape thing dont seem too push the paper to the background as it supposed to do. Im not a fan of flash and that sort of things but you made it pretty neat. Thumbs up! |

I agree about the tape and the shadow on the logo lookin a bit off but apart from that it's good work. The green footer is a little bright for my tastes but maybe thats just me. I like the simplicity of it and your portfolio work proves that you have a good eye... some quality work there |

Ah, I see what you guys mean with the shadow of the logo. There should be no shadow near the tape, as the tape pushes the paper down. I'll work on that. @superstoffe: There's no flash involved here, only the Lightbox script for displaying images and html (which is maybe getting a bit old ). But it'll do for now and I don't see it a lot in Holland. Thanks for the feedback! |
