Have just made a new site and would be grateful if anyone could provide me with some constructive criticism: http://www.pixelsquare.co.uk/ Cheers Mike |

agree with Pat... nothing seems to fit - just disparate elements thrown together without much thought is what it says to me. Maybe some nice touches but overall a bit of a mess. Not back to the drawing board by any means but certainly in need of a load more work. Again... sorry |

agree completely with what pat said. feels like it lacks layout, design and focus, and indeed looks like a hosting company. code is fine, but your headers are unsemantic and your h1 should really say more than welcome. all apologises. |

It does look awfully thrown together. How do you intend to sell yourself as a web development company with no websites in your portfolio? Icons - even if they're custom made - look very much like every stock icon ever created. Very anonymous and impersonal. Fine for a CMS or something, but not for a public website. Glad you care about your code - it shows initiative and foresight. However, the markup could be a lot better. For instance, try making your navigation into a list instead of just a bunch of links. The rounded search bar touching to the green bothers me. That whole top area just bothers me. |
