Layout

Hi lads,

I've finished a layout for a website today. One of my first with flash. Can you give me your comments before I proceed further with the content.

Here

Cheers!

Hello,
Though I am not a professional designer, yet, I am in school studying graphic design and we recently worked with Flash. I think your overall concept works well. A few things you may want to adjust are things like the text in the tabs. I like the rolling effect, however they come back up from with the screen instead of just in the tab itself. Also, your transitions of the text the float up moves quickly, then creeps before it stops. Maybe make it a more fluent movement to the stopping point. The third one fades out a lot slower than the other two, so maybe make that one fade the same. I think your color scheme works very well with the theme, and the layout looks very well balanced. I think it looks like it will be a very good website. Again, I am only a student of design, but this is what I noticed. Hope it helps.

the flash header is awfully busy. i think you've got too many square corners and intersections.

I don't think it's too busy neever.

The flash rollovers are operating out of their boxes on this PC - they roll in from underneatht he bottom of the button..? Using FF1.5 Win XP Fla 8

+ I am not to keen on the type - it looks proper compressed...

You've used an image for the text on the right, it looks slightly pixilated.

Yes, unfortunately I have had to use imagery in replacement of a lot of text as you will be able to see from my problem here - Alpha on text has stopped working! - Help

That is the only thing that bothers me and the blurry image at first...
