Some good examples of web 2 design (posted on DT a couple of days ago too I believe) Yours has some similarities with the overall layout/spacing/colouring etc. I would think for the type of site yours is thats a good thing, right? |

I wasn't really going for a web2 look - I believe web 2 means something else - not a style. I thought web 2 was more about cross site relationships (feeds etc). I was simply trying to make the content as readable as possible. Does it achieve this within a well designed package? |

Giving it a second and a third look, I'd say that I like the overall color scheme but it just feels kinda off. It must be something in that green gradient, and the green used in the link colors. As for the Web 2.0 thing, my take on it anyways is that it's not only a style, but the use of AJAX, cross-site relationshis (as you mentioned, etc. It's kind of an overall encompassing term. I love the idea though, keep thing simple, less content is better, and use really large text so user's can actually read things. I'm sure this has been posted on here before, but I find it pretty humorous. Web 2.0 Validator. |
