Virtuoso Net Solutions

Greetings,

My name is Chad, owner of Virtuoso Net Solutins Inc. I recently designed the entire website on my own. I have basically zero programming / web design knowledge but I gave it a shot.

Please share kind honest feedback

Looks like a template...very crowded and anonymous.

Great for your first time.

But again like pgo, looks a bits like a template, way to crowded. Too much for a browser to take in - they would not know where to begin initially.

You lost a bit of continuity once you click on one of the four main options. You should have kept your colour coding - make that more obvious.

Plus it doesn't really stand out as different.

Remember the colour coding mate?

Make the "Order Now" buttons within the VPS and Servers green and red respectively.

Thats just an example of what I mean by colour coding. Make it easier for the user to make the visual and mental connection between sections without having to hestitate so much (see if it works at least).

Apart from that, looking much improved.

Thank you.

To be honest I have been willing to hire a professional web design. Nothing fancy needed. No coding or flash just a clean, crisp professional corporate look.

Who is willing to recommend such firms or one man designer who is not going to quote outrageous pricing? The site is rather very simple. The only coding needed would be basic things that I have already implemented myself anyway.

Any recommendations appreciated and welcomed. Even if you are a designer yourself (I would expect that on this forum) show me your portfolio.

I am not cheap, but I am not going to spend "thousands of dollars" just to let you know.

Do YOU like to give away your services? Would you like me to bargin with you about hosting costs?

Bottom line ... good work is not cheap, and cheap work is never good.

That's a very naive response. Congratulations.

Spending thousands of dollars on web design and negotiating with web firms is normal. If you do not believe me, than we know who the ass is here.

In other words, you're saying thousands of dollars ($1000+) is "outrageous". Well, it isn't.

Anyway, I wasn't really calling you an ass. I'm just curious how you can expect to hire someone professional and then not pay a professional's rate.

But anyway, it really could use a recoding. Lots of nasty obtrusive JavaScript (no right click, the menu disappears without JavaScript active!), poorly written and out of date HTML (tables, font tags, etc.), etc, etc.
