I own the site but i didnt design it, my friend velizio did.

Personally I'm not to keen on the pastel blues and oranges/peach colour you have used, but thats just a personal opinion.
I think you have a good layout though that is strong but maybe look at moving you yahoo/google adds elsewhere or just having the ones you have on the sides and at the bottom.
I don't understand why people place them at the top of their sites, it only drags their own sites content further down the page and many people dislike having to scroll to find it.

yea colour scheme not working for me, obviously the google ads make it look worse, don't think the background works for this site. Rest of the design isn't bad just kindof boring.

Pastel colours aren't working. Content needs more space.

Here are some points that I did not like:

1 - I love pastel colors but in a web site about gaming, I prefer not to use (or view) it. Gamers like vivid colors, I think.
2 - There are toooo much Google ads on the page. Remove some!
3 - It would be nicer to put a "login box" at the top-right, instead of linking to login form.
4 - Don't show "top members" right beside the games. Instead of this, try placing "most popular games" up next to "what's new" section and dicrease the number of games displayed (e.g. 4-5 will be ok). Put "top members" section above the "statistics" box. And dicrease the number, too.
5 - Last thing: I think you should design a new logo for the site, with a good image - like a mascot or something.
