It looks very smart, although i cant understand why you would want UV print on your business card? Unless you hand them out in nightclubs?

type on your identity is fairly illegible. If your a designer surely you would design something that works?

Those rounded corners are going to CO$T you big time.
You added bleed so your corners are going to be crunked yo!
I don’t think you need to round the corners.
I’m not feeling the typeface you chose for the name.

*From past experience with designing business cards you have to design as a quick read to the lowest visually challenged human being. Make sure typography is the easiest to read.

What is their budget? Rounded corners and UV print? Excess!

Last time I checked UV (as in spot UV) was a print varish - not ultraviolet!

sorry I don't like anything about these.
print web identity is too big. in fact all the text elements look the wrong size and spacing is off.
e.g the url is pushed right next to the edge. that stuff has got to be pixel perfect if you're actually going to print these.
maybe blue and black combo could work though.

Thanks all!
@ No 7: Which part is illegible? People don't have to read it immediately, as long as they can think about it for a second and make it out. Rather it be memorable and different than boring.
@ Elvis, lol i don't even know what bleed is :S Cost isn't a big deal seeing as how i expect to get At least 1 job just from the cards. So a good card is well worth it. Sorry about the crop marks those were just from illustrator i didn't even know they were crop marks lol.

heres an update:

Uhoh. Not a good start.

Your newer designs are better. The type feels more considered. Are these the front and back of the same card? They look like two completely different ones. Decide on a route and stick with it, running these together would just be confusing.

the logo/typeface is awful.

it's not a case of being boring, just that the vast majority of clients don't care about experimental design. they want it to look good, be cheap and work for the purpose it was intended.

and if they look at your card and have to work out what it says, you're not gonna hear from them.

Legibility isn't boring. Design is about problem solving first with all the pretty shit following after. Just cos you got a fairly illegible logotype doesn't make it memeorable either, it just shows your typographic skills aint that good.

If the printers already have the die cuts for the radius you're after they can actually be pretty cheep - if it's a good printer you have a relationship with.
