i like. i didn't feel that your header name stood out enough. maybe lighter color with dark outline? even if it's overlayed. nice work tho.

I hate you Mr Milk :P *shakes head*
No cookie for you.

Anyway, yeah, I've been getting a lot of comments about the header, so I'll get around to editing that up.

A bit nothing really. cheap and cheerless.

Header is plain horrid (it's huge, the images are non-descipt and the text is almost unreadable).

More content? the site seems to be purely a collection of links!?

What is the intended purpose of this site? If it's a blog I've seen far better.

And the code has a serious case of divitis.

The only good thing I can say about this is that at least it wasn't built with frames and tables.

sorry

Hay thats fresh how the navigation stays where it is. I keep wanting to say oriGinal. Maybe the my sites navigation on the right should slide down when you scroll down.

maybe try using an iframe somewhere. lol max.

Your art work doesn't match your website at all. Is is a template website? did you design? how old are you. MASH?

Heh, alright, a couple things.
I'm well aware that my artwork doesn't fit in with the site design, because I don't usually like to stick to one strict style for all content. On the account of more content, this site was started a week ago. Yes, I realise theres no way you would/should know that.

Also, max, I appreciate the criticism, but some of it simply doesn't help out at all.
Yes, there are better blogs. I'm not trying to create the best blog there ever was, I'm trying to create a site that reflects me. If you don't like the way it does that, fine.

To answer other question:
This site is not template, I made it from scratch, code and all
I'm 14 years old.
I can't make the sidebar scroll down as well because if it fills up with too much content then i'll be screwing over 800x600 users.

Also, it isn't just a collection of random links. It's things I find intersting and things I've created myself. Everything in both the codes section and art section is created from scratch from me. I give full credit where it's due.

Anyway, more criticism of the constructive variety would be appreciated.

reflects you how?

My comment was that if it is intending to be a blog-style site (which it appears to be) then some blog style navigation aids would be a good idea.

Erm hmmmm, i wanted to make a pun about this being Wong but then I was beat to it ha-ha :p ...
Taking in consideration your age I suppose it has promise and if done from scratch then it’s okay-ish.

I mean its not gonna win any macromedia animation or best website awards any time soon, but to be fair to you young sir, hats off to you for registering a domain of your own! I know designers nearly twice your age that don't bother with an elegant domain name something a bit different! I know people that produce websites and still persist in using a hotmail address! This doesn't inspire confidence I wouldn't use em' for that fact alone, professionalism can't put a price on it!

How do you mean - I thought it was just his name...

Nice site considering your age - just change the banner and it will look nice. Oh, I'm not sure why but I'm not keen on the Menu either.

ah yeah I see why I confused you soz,wot I meant was, yes its just his name but its nice to see somebody registering a proper domain instead of using these free spaces one u see all over the place end up being links like- flidski.fool.spunkmoney.freeweb.co.uk etc ...

admittedly it is only his name so its not that different in the sense of the word but its refreshing to see one taking the time and effort to register up a domain, especially of Jamie W's age group!
