Alright alright, thanks for all the comments
I fully understand the problems now.
Things I would greatly appreciate more information on:
Suggestions for a new banner
Explanation of a more sensible blog navigation system
Explanation of what the hell pat is talking about (is he high..?)
Also, information about what exactly is disliked about that menu.

And of course, whatever the hell else you wanna write here.

Less is more, try using 1 or 2 pixel borders, also tone down the outerglow/shadow. The header is just plain ugly tho and has to go.

your site name still doesn't make itself obvious. you filled it in, but then you made it just as un-noticable. put your identity where we will see it.

okay, so the header has been changed,
rather, removed.
It's now clear, not overly flashy and takes up minimal room.
Is it an improvement?
