design: very nice... apart from the very top and the very bottom (footer)

code: getting lots of html warnings based around the empty span tags and why have you got so much inline css?

the default skin had the styling inline like that, and since this is the first time we skinned the particular shopping cart software we're using, we decided the best way to do it was to just replace the stylings with our own.

now that we're familiar with the software, future revisions we'll do properly...

what in particular don't you like about the header and footer area?

cheers,
mubs

they look unfinished compared with the rest of the site, a bit more space around things, font styling etc...

other than that looks 'great, mate'

background i don't mind so much, although i know where you're coming from.

think the header would look better without the drips personally

I am getting non secure items warnings as I progress through buying area, I think this is caused because image files are on the unseccure server. Perhaps you should have copies of the images on the secure hosting and update the code to display them?

edit: I tried clicking do not show unsecure items and got the same visible result so perhaps I am mistaken about the reason for this warning?

thanks for the comments guys. were kinda rushing at the end to get the site up and running, so we'll be revisiting the design elements soon enough.

datahound: i've not seen the errors myself, and haven't seen any other reports from users having any problems. would you mind letting me know your OS/browser?

thanks,
mubs
