I really like photography and webdesign (or any other category that is related)-
this web site began from my pure interest in those fields.. Please give me
MANY MANY advices!! Also I'm looking for some cool web friends :)
Being a college student away from my cozy hometown - L.A. - makes me feel that I can
welcome anybody to be friends with! xD

Your photography is cool but your site lets it down immeasurably - the user experience is hampered by dark colors and never really knowing where clicking is leading (I thought there was an error because I was clicking different images but the same thing was showing in the pop-up window - took a while to see the 'next' and 'previous' links)

Next / Previous buttons you say?

pretty much what finbarr said. good quality graphics let down by poor UI.

Very good photos - however the navigation to me was not that clear (the text is not clear enough), I found myself squinting whilst looking at your site - probably because of the dark colours among other things and ditto to FN's comments above...

Perhaps creating a contrast between dark and light colours in your revision and making the navigation around the site clearer is a much better idea.

Good luck!

Slow loading - it's all heavy images, so it takes forever to accomplish anything. Optimize!

It's certainly not terrible, but it's obviously done by someone who's not a web designer. You can usually tell.

well.. definitely I'm not a professional web designer!
that's why I asked for some advices- since this is just sort of a testing to see how much
skill I've got with no experience of learning any web-related thing ever in my life..
And yes I know ... all heavy images...
I'm really willing to learn some flash and other programs... anywayz thank u for good advices!
