Making a site like http://theconsult.com in Flash, when the same thing could've been achieved through simple HTML is just lame.

Plus the annoying fact that I always have to look at that crap text every new visit at the site. And I can't do anything to stop the damned thing....

The predessor was fast functional and more stylish. The work 'was' the website and there were no issues with speed or browser compatibilty. This one is proper Gay in comparison.

It had no flash and was better for it. But even without the fash this is like bringing on marcus bent when you have ronaldinho on the bench.

Could do better

Clean and nice layout, I like the creativity of the design. But it loads too slow. Remember this thing: You might design a web site that looks fantastic but few people are going to see it if it takes a long time to load.

like the layout (though plain), works looks OK, good to see some nice print and typography work in there, though I agree with the above ... why flash?
